The pre-school, the Deer Valley Academy, takes care of and entertains youngsters from the age of two months up till four years. While the Summer Adventure Camp takes care of the older children up to the age of 12. This affords parents and older brothers and sisters the ability to explore the area, the resort, and everything it has to offer, while the little ones are cared for.

All Deer Valley Resort accommodations are managed by various property management companies. There is a central reservations service available which will be able to make reservations for you as well as inform you of what accommodations are available. You'll find the best deals; however, by contacting the Deer Valley lodging and property management companies directly. Look for websites that help you search lodging and then contact the property manager yourself. These sites don't earn a reservation commission, so you should be able to negotiate a discount of at least 10%.

Each property management company has different seasonal rates, although the majority agree that peak season is from December 21 to January 6 and the second week in February through the end of March. The summer value season is from mid April through November with a few higher priced dates in the peak of summer.

Of course winter time in Deer Valley also has its gifts. This resort virtually revolutionized the skiing industry more than twenty seven years ago, when they became the first ski resort in North America to provide service of the equivalent of a first class fine hotel.

Amenities during the winter months are of the highest possible standard. Deer Valley offers guests ski valets, lessons in an award winning ski school, ski runs groomed to perfection, rental equipment and much more. The combination of a high standard of customer service and attention to the finer details makes this resort a favorite choice for all year-round vacationers. Deer Valley has a long list of highly acclaimed awards to its name, including host to slalom, aeriel, and mogul events at the 2002 the Winter Olympic Games.

Winter time is not only a favorite time for skiers. Deer Valley also operates Summit Meadows snowmobile tours for snowmobile enthusiasts as well as skiers looking for something a little different during this time of year. There are 7,000 acres of snowmobiling territory to take advantage of and explore. And during the summer months you can add horseback riding, water sports, boating, national and local mountain bike racing and golf into the itinerary.
