Located in the Pyrenees mountains, Andorra ski resorts are all very similar. With lively bars and nightclubs, mountain restaurants, reputable ski schools and reliable snow fall, Andorra attracts many tourists each year.

Due to an investment into Andorra to update the ski lifts and modernise the resorts, it has attracted younger clientele. Andorra can offer something for everyone, its an excellent choice for beginners, intermediates, families, couples and groups. All the resorts are within close vicinity and some resorts linked together so you can sample the different slopes and apres ski.

The resort Andorra La Vella is a small resort with quality hotels. The hotels are located within walking distance from the center of the town, so no bus rides or taxis needed. One main attraction of the resort is Caldea Spa, the indoor and outdoor pools with fountains and waterfalls simply are impressive. More facilities include saunas, hot tubs, turkish baths, hydrothe rapy, sunbeds, massage or you could try the grapefruit bath. A more sophisticated resort with an array of restaurants serving fresh fish delivered daily from the coast.
The most remote resort in Andorra is Arcalis, which has a variety of terrain better than most of the resorts. Horse shoe shaped Arcalis is quiet and pretty with not many tourists. The black runs and off piste skiing is great for expert skiers and intermediate skiers are more than catered for.

Pal and Arinsal were two resorts linked together in 2000, which has proved to have increased the appeal to visitors. Pal has escaped the renovations and development projects, leaving it a quiet, picturesque mountain village with a small selection of slopes. Arinsal on the other hand has great hotels, well suited to families, beginners and early intermediates. Covering 11 miles of slopes a ski school to be proud of, ski kindergarten and non-skiing creche, either resort is a suitable choice for a family ski holiday.

Pas De La Casa and Grau Roig are another two resorts which have combined and together they have 186km of pistes. A bustling resort with the majority of accommodation located near to the slopes which makes it convenient for being able to walk everywhere. They have two areas for beginners and plenty of gentle slopes. A popular resort for snowboarding and the ski school has an excellent reputation. You can also enjoy floodlit skiing once a week in the evening.

Soldeu and El Tarter are by far together the biggest combined resort, they have a lot in common with the other resorts like the lively nightlife and ski schools. El Tarter is slightly quieter that Soldeu but that doesn't mean there is a shortage of places to stay, far from it. Its another great resort for families and offers a wide variety of apres ski. The off piste runs are a favourite with expert skiers, however, is still good for beginners.

Andorra is a beautiful country, offering such a vast amount of activities, apres ski and different slopes to suit everyone. The picturesque Andorra ski resorts are well worth visiting.
