The Disney Hotels in Orlando, Florida number around 25 (including the resorts). They represent a number of styles and can fit into nearly any budget. When staying at Disney World, you can take your pick to stay in comfort. Here's an overview.

The Magic Kingdom Area

The choicest locations are the ones right near the Magic Kingdom. These hotels are in the deluxe price range (over $200.00 per night). They are all located on either Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon.

The Contemporary Resort - One of the first Disney World hotels, it is still considered a world-class resort after 40 years. The monorail comes right through the lobby for some added convenience. It has extremely large room as well as a beach and a marina. Connected to the Contemporary by a skywalk, is one of the newest hotel additions, the Bay Lake Tower Villas. It's an all-suite resort but it doesn't have it's own dining rooms.

The Polynesian Resort - Your escape to the islands, Disney style. Everything that makes you think of a tropical paradise, you'll find at the Polynesian. There are regular luaus and a volcano pool, beautiful landscaping with tropical plants and a stream. The beach off the resort is the best place to see the Magic Kingdom nightly fireworks show.

Disney's Grand Floridian - Disney's signature resort, with a turn-of-the-century railway theme. The fully equipped spa makes this a particularly luxurious place to stay if you enjoy being pampered. Victoria and Albert's is the resort restaurant, and considered the top eatery in all of Disney World.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - Why not try something a little different and go camping while at Disney World? This campground allows for anything between a 45 foot long camper, to tents. While staying there, you can go horse-back riding and take in some old-fashioned country entertainment.

Epcot Center

The next area where you can get your accommodations is around the Epcot Center. These next resorts are all in this area, and most are in the deluxe range for room prices.

Boardwalk Inn - A seaside-themed resort on Crescent lake, that offers some quiet areas to go walking as well as regular live entertainment. The boardwalk is great for walks or bike rides.

Beach Club Resort and Villa - Even if you've never been to Martha's Vineyard, you'll be able to appreciate the relaxed style of the Beach Club. They have a huge pool, that is more like a water park and there are spots to go fishing too.

Yacht Club Resort - As the name suggests, the Yacht Club is a nautical resort on Stormalong Bay, very near to the Beach Club.
